I have been creating all my life. Constantly seeking to enhance the surrounding beauty, a variety of artistic and inventive projects filled the days of my youth. Attracted to music as a powerful outlet for artistic expression, it became the focus early on. Appointing the guitar as my main creative voice, music paved my path.

After many years of achieving musical accomplishments, including a prestigious degree in jazz performance from Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music, something was missing. I put down my guitar and wholeheartedly turned to another life-long interest: woodworking.

There is something organic that unfolds through the process of creation. Initial consults, drawings, design revisions, construction considerations, the build, and, finally, the finished piece; the process creates a compelling narrative. Proudly operating as a one-man shop allows me complete control over every project from start to finish, ensuring the highest level of quality throughout.

With painstaking attention to detail, I strive to marry passion with practicality; tradition with modernity. Rejecting the commonly accepted complacency of a craftsman, my steadfast commitment to both the client, and the piece itself, mandates special considerations and unwavering meticulous care for each and every commission.

I live and work on the remnants of a small farm in Bloomington, IN, with my wife of nearly twenty years and our two teenage children, operating out of a 3,200 square foot fully-equipped manufacturing facility.

Discovering the undeniable work of art in my approach to both music and woodworking has been enlightening. My personal mantra is this: there is a story yearning to be told when working alongside a client who has a vision. The true joy of woodworking is in being a part of this unique story-telling-process in order to create something remarkable and truly custom that will endure the test of time.
